It has come to our attention that some people are having display issues with this site and we have introduced this help section to give some insight to common questions and/or provide the forum to correct these issues. Can’t see pictures!
- This is our most commonly asked about topic. Apparently some users are seeing light-blue boxes, where pictures should be, with red writing on the inside. While this is fairly annoying, this issue is typically a browser problem. This site has been built using the newest instances of PHP encoding which are not fully viewable by all (older) browsers. The easiest fix is usually just a browser update. (This may require a new fresh installation.)
- To fully visualize the enhanced features and imagery of UniBlogg.com our design team recommends the Mozilla Firefox internet browser.
- Another issue that helps this problem is “Content Blocking”. This is commonly used in wifi hotspots and from within business or school networks. The simple answer here is that a content blocker is disabling access to the sites that host these pictures. Since each user here at UniBlogg.com doesn’t work for UB, pictures are hosted from all over the world and may not accessable from your current network.
